Servus, Traveller!

We are Cristina, Klah and Victoria — born in Bucharest, at home in the heart of Transylvania. House number 381 chose us in 2017, and since then we have been bringing it back to life day by day, with a love for everything authentic and traditional.

Porumbacu 381 is a Transylvanian homestead from 1934, lovingly restored for the kind of guests who know how to appreciate soulful comfort. Two buildings, seven rooms, a 100 m² hall and a 400 m² courtyard — where old-world tranquillity meets contemporary ease.

What are the prices per night?
Double rooms start from 300 RON/night (~60 €). Triple rooms and the Family Room are 350 RON/night. The Attic Suite (40 m²) is 400 RON/night. For stays of 4 nights or more, we offer 10% off year-round. Message us on WhatsApp for exact availability.
How many guests can stay at the same time?
Porumbacu 381 has 7 rooms with a total capacity of 16 guests. The 100 m² hall can accommodate up to 40 people for events or festive dinners. The entire property can be booked exclusively for one group.
Is it suitable for families with young children?
Absolutely. We have an indoor play area with toys, an outdoor playground, a fenced 400 m² courtyard, hammocks and a free baby cot on request.
How do I make a booking?

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 4:00 PM. Check-out by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged subject to availability — let us know in advance.
How close is Porumbacu 381 to the Transfăgărășan road?
We are 15 km from the Transfăgărășan (DN7C) entrance, 7 km from the Clay Castle (Castelul de Lut), 34 km from Sibiu, and 45 km from Lake Vidraru. The trail to Cabana Negoiu starts practically from the village, 7 km from us.
Can we book the entire property exclusively?
Yes. The entire property can be reserved for one group — all 7 rooms, the hall, kitchen, 400 m² courtyard and all facilities. Perfect for team building, family reunions, private parties or retreats.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not accepted at Porumbacu 381. We apologise for any inconvenience.
